Denise Rider is from Santa Monica, California and has had a passion for events ever since she can remember. She has always felt a connection and is rooted to the event world, whether in planning family gatherings, coordinating trips for friends, or volunteering for various organizations. She continued to be involved with school and leadership group events, and her love for planning flourished.
Once she began college at The University of Arizona, she began coordinating events for her sorority, Tri Delta, where she realized how carrying out events for an organization with a mission was extremely fulfilling. After graduating college with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies, she moved to Israel and began traveling the world. It was while living in Australia that Denise earned a degree in Event Management.
Her professional journey began when she landed back in LA and began working full time for an Award Winning Producer and Designer, Kimberly Seeherman, owner of Events by Fabulous. She continues to freelance produce for Events by Fabulous doing large non-profit and corporate events for clients such as CHLA (Children’s Hospital Los Angeles), Humane Society, Heal the Bay, and In-N-Out. These last several years she has gained a wide range of experience allowing her to have a broad vision for creativity on all weddings and events.
With the stars aligned and her ability to work free-lance, she, accompanied by her music producer boyfriend, moved her ventures to beautiful Ojai. She was lucky to meet Brooke right away and begin what she believes will be a life long friendship.
Her excitement for weddings and intimate gatherings have always been true to her heart. Denise’s gifts of organization, attention to detail, creative imagination, and contagious enthusiasm is what drives her to execute concepts flawlessly. Her pleasant, calm, and helpful demeanor will ensure an amazing experience.
Making someone's day truly special is what brings her joy and happiness.
If she is not planning the next gorgeous wedding or event, you will find her doing yoga, cooking delicious food, enjoying nature, and spending time with her wonderful boyfriend. She enjoys coffee in the morning and sipping delightful wine in the evenings under the Ojai moon, often while enjoying country music or reading a good book.
Christina Banman fell into the event industry in 2015 when she decided to take a chance and leave the world of real estate. Her journey began with an internship with an international event producer, Erika Lohmar, thanks to her alma mater of Cal Lutheran University. She then transitioned into a position as a full time planner with Along Came Mary Events whom she continues to freelance produce large corporate events for clients such as Hallmark, Fox and Hulu. This has provided her a wide scope of experience in the industry. With her passion for food and entertaining, weddings and events was the perfect fit for her.She was raised on an avocado orchard in Santa Paula and grew up helping farm her families properties in Texas and Washington state. She frequents the farmers market as a way to stay connected with the local farm community. Food is one of the many elements in an event that can help bring people together and spark engaging conversations.
Communal feasting tables, family style eating and warm summer nights under market lights are some of her favorite things. This led her into the exciting world of farm dinners with Outstanding In The Field, working production with a special emphasis in location scouting that took her to Bermuda and back.
After gaining experience with events in Los Angeles and around the world Christina made the move back to Ventura County in late 2017. She landed in Meiners Oaks just under half a mile from Brooke and couldn’t be happier. She now spends free time renovating her new home and 30’ Islander Sailboat with her harbor patrol huny.
