Native Ojai resident Katie was graced with an amazing family property to host her long awaited nuptials. Planning was well underway for a large soirée including a grand tented reception with a fourteen piece band but Covid had other plans. After much consideration the decision was made to move forward with their celebration newly focused on intimacy, a memorable culinary experience and specialized live performances. This included pivoting to a venue perfectly suited for their renewed vision. Ceremony in the round was enjoyed with soft melodies by the Santa Barbara String Quartet.
Each detail was carefully curated with the help of local artist Classic Letterpress and floral creative director Louesa Roebuck. A bountiful Ojai fall narrative unfolded with nods to seasonal persimmon and vibrant hibiscus blooms. Long time White Sage collaborator and two Michelin star Chef Jean-Philippe Sitbon from At Your Service Catering crafted an elaborate five course meal. Each course was accompanied by a perfectly paired wine selected by the Bride's Father. The beautiful meal was complimented by a hand chosen group of musicians that offered robust tunes and a lively atmosphere for dancing and celebrating.
